My husband and I were married in Paris in April 2012. I am secretly a Francophile.
By day, I make my livelihood as a therapist. My husband is an accountant. We spend our Saturday mornings on the couch, sipping coffee. I also love to read, paint, eat ethnic food and workout. If you would like to read more about my life, click here.
As a preteen, I poured myself into magazines like CosmoGirl and Seventeen pining over beauty products and soaking in tips. I believe I am and always will be a product junky!
I decided to combine my love of written word and my obsession with products when I realized friends and family were turning to me for my opinion on beauty products. Beauty by Arielle was created in October 2011 as a way to share my love with the world.
Living in a small community wasn't always easy. Any of you who must drive an hour to the nearest mall can empathize! I would live for the weekends when I could make the pilgrimage to Ulta or Sephora. Now I have the luxury of getting there in 5 minutes!
I also get my fill from box subscriptions, reading other blogs or heading to the drugstore. While my heart will always be with drugstore products, I do pick up some high end must haves. I am constantly on the lookout for new products, tips and DIYs to share with my readers!

Beauty by Arielle has and will continue to be my creative outlet to write, photograph and dabble in graphic design. With the blog, my love (and my collection!) for cosmetics has grown.
